I’ve been designing, implementing, and solving systems for more than 25 years. My first 'big girl' job, right out of college, was rebuilding a long-established Environmental Education program that was dying due to multiple inefficiencies. Too much energy out, not enough energy in.
In less than six months, and with the budget of a scrappy non-profit organization, I doubled the number of billable program days, filled those days with an expanded pool of clientele, and created two new revenue streams -- all without increasing the size of our staff or other expenditures. That program is still around today, and stronger than ever.
